We would like to thank all the ISCSO 2025 participants for their contributions to the event. The winner of ISCSO 2025 is Team StrucOpt from METU, Turkey. The set of Pareto-optimal solutions reported by the winning team is available below. Congratulations to all members of Team StrucOpt!
Team StrucOpt

Ahmet Sefa Güren
Ahmet Sefa Güren received his B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from the Middle East Technical University (METU) and is currently pursuing his M.Sc. in Structural Engineering at METU. His research interests include steel structures, nonlinear structural analysis of shear links in eccentrically braced frames, and structural optimization using advanced numerical methods. He has a strong focus on probabilistic theory and Bayesian approaches for model updating, uncertainty quantification, and performance-based structural assessment. In parallel with his academic work, he is currently working in the cold-formed steel (CFS) sector at Steel Tech USA, gaining practical experience in structural design and analysis.

Emin Mammadov
Emin Mammadov holds a B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from the Middle East Technical University (METU) and is currently pursuing his M.Sc. degree in Structural Engineering at METU. He works as a Bridge Structural Engineer at Yüksel Proje, specializing in the design of bridge structures. His primary research interests include nonlinear structural analysis of reinforced concrete bridges, fiber hinge models based on distributed inelasticity, soil-structure interaction effects on bridge performance, and energy-dissipative structural systems used in bridge engineering. He has also worked on uncertainty updating problems using Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods, with emphasis on finite element model calibration.
